What we collect

• Your email address, used for your receipt, hunt link and clues.
• Your mobile number, if you give one, so we can text your hunt link and the clues you ask for.
• Purchase details: city, pack, number of players, start and end dates, unlock code and amount paid.
• Messages you send us, so we can help.
• Basic usage data, such as which pages were visited, to understand what is working.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To deliver your hunt, your unlock code and the clues you request.
• To send receipts, service messages and replies to your questions.
• To keep sales records, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
• To improve the hunts and the website.

Text message program

You opt in to texts by entering your mobile number at checkout and ticking the text message box. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase: your hunt link and clues are always available by email and on your hunt page.

• We send transactional messages only: your hunt link, the clues you request and help replies.
• Message frequency varies with how many clues you request, typically fewer than 20 messages per hunt.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to cancel texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email us.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share data with

Only the providers that make the service work: Twilio for text delivery, our email provider for messages, Stripe for payments, and our website host and analytics. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. Text opt-in data is never shared for marketing.

Cookies and local storage

We keep a small amount of information in your browser to run the site and remember your choices, such as whether a browser should be counted in our visit statistics.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep purchase records as long as needed for support, tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your contact details at any time by emailing us, and we will do so unless we are required to keep a record.

Children

Hunts are made for adults. Players under 18 should take part with a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the purchase and the account details.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
