Unlock The City turns a normal day out into a self-guided treasure hunt. Each hunt is a walking route through a real city, built from real places, where every stop hands you a clue to solve before the next one unlocks. You solve on your own time, one stop at a time, and earn a letter at each location. Collect them all and unscramble the finale password to win sponsor rewards.
Hunts run 2, 3 or 5 days and are made for couples, families, friend groups, date nights, team outings and visitors who want to see a city the way locals do. You only need a phone, comfortable shoes and a little curiosity. If you get stuck, a hint can land on screen or arrive by text or email, so nobody is ever left standing on a corner.
Every hunt is built by the Unlock The City team, a small independent crew of puzzle writers, map nerds and local explorers. We scout each city on foot, work with nearby businesses to sponsor stops, and write clues that point at the landmarks, murals and details you would otherwise walk straight past.
